The La Canada High School varsity girls’ lacrosse team remains resilient and hopeful in spite of recent losses.
The Spartans (5-6 overall record, 0-2 in league) recently played Village Christian High of Sun Valley, losing 20-8; California High of Whittier, winning 13-11; Glendale, losing 12-1; and local rival, Crescenta Valley High of La Crescenta, losing 17-2.
Senior goalie Ceci Del Rivo continues to be among the team’s top players, with as many shots saved as goals scored against her.
LCHS will host Westridge School of Pasadena in its regular season finale on Thursday, April 28, at 3:30 p.m.
