The La Cañada 7/8 High School recently returned to holding an in person promotion celebration for its 8th-graders.
“I thought it was absolutely amazing having all of our students together again for promotion for the first time in two years,” 7/8 Principal Dr. Jarett Gold said. “Seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces and how they enjoyed the moment when they were done was priceless.”
Performing at the event was the 7th grade Band and Orchestra with Pomp and Circumstance conductor Amanda Svetich and 7/8 Honor Choir conducted by Jeff Brookey.
Promotional address speakers included Colette Park and Ivy Seropian.
Additionally, awards were presented to recipients, including Monica Pacino, who was given the Principal’s Award.
