Concertgoers Get Funky at Music in the Park

cvr-Music-In-the-Park-Celebration — Music in the Park recently returned to Memorial Park just in time for La Cañada Flintridge’s Fourth of July weekend celebration. Amid the event’s musical performances, children dressed in red, white and blue galore wave American flags to commemorate Independence Day.

Memorial Park was recently filled with enthusiastic spectators for Music in the Park performances.
The Funky Hippeez, a cover band playing Disco and Funk, energized the crowd. There was lots of dancing with some of the participants dressed appropriately for the ’70s.
One of the highlights was when the band welcomed the women in the audience to come on stage and sing the song “I will survive.”
