La Cañada Elementary School transitional kindergarteners recently had fun preparing for their classroom for a Thanksgiving friendship celebration.
They made turkey headbands and were excited to put them on. Using a post it, they drew a picture of something they were thankful for and added to their drawings to a class poster.
They also enjoyed fruit kabobs and sitting together while stories were read to them.
As they left for the holiday break, the youngsters took home their hand-crafted turkeys, with the plan of putting them out on their family dinner table for all their loved ones to see.
