A mailbox located at the 5500 block of Alta Canyada Road was burglarized and damaged between the hours of 7 p.m. on Dec. 10 and 9 a.m. on Dec. 11. Between those times, an unknown suspect allegedly pried the lock mailbox and stole unknown mail from inside it. The victim told the responding deputies that he did not have any surveillance video at his residence.

At 5:48 a.m., a man heard sawing coming from outside his house on the 5000 block of Castle Road. He went outside to investigate and saw a male underneath his work van and another man standing by the front driver’s side door. The man who was standing alerted the second man, and they both fled toward a white Hyundai sedan. Upon investigation, the van was missing its catalytic converter.

A vehicle parked on the 4000 block of Rupert Lane was burglarized between the hours of 7 p.m. Dec. 5 and 10 p.m. on Dec. 6. The owner found the vehicle passenger side door ajar, with the glove compartment ransacked. The insurance card and vehicle registration were stolen. There was no damage to the vehicle, and the victim was unsure how the unknown suspects gained entry to the vehicle.
