LCF Tournament of Roses Receives Donated Equipment

First published in the Feb. 2 print issue of the Outlook Valley Sun.

The La Cañada Flintridge Tournament of Roses Association officers President Ernest Koeppan, logistics officer Chuck Hughes and Vice President Rich Boccia recently loaded donated power tools into a truck and transported them to the float building site.
A table saw, band saw and a belt/rotary sander were transported to the float building site — all of which will be used for construction of the 2024 LCF float.
The equipment was donated by Jeanne Broberg and her brother-in-law, Greg Brown, who is a former LCFTRA member. Broberg and her sister, Joyce Brown, said they are pleased to give their father’s saws to the Tournament of Roses.
