For La Cañada Flintridge residents who live in the western portion of the city (Sagebrush) the annual application period for children to attend LCF public schools is approaching.
Application forms for the 2023-24 school year are now available on the district website. The application submission window is March 6 to April 28. This will be the only time of the year permit applications will be accepted.
LCUSD permits are approved based on availability of space at the various grade levels. LCUSD will notify families of their permit status during the summer. LCF residents assigned to Glendale Unified School District would also need to apply for a release from GUSD should they be accepted to attend LCUSD schools. Families only need to apply for a GUSD release after they have been officially notified by LCUSD of acceptance.
