Paradise Canyon Elementary School hosted a Spirit Rally on Friday, March 17, with attendees dressing up in green for St. Patrick’s Day, as well as for Flashback Friday.
The 4th-grade student council helped to run the spirit rally with teacher Greg Hardash.
The event honored three of the PCY Founder’s Day recipients, and PCY Librarian Christina Tinglof celebrated the accelerated readers with 250 points, as well as students with 500 points, including Olivia Lee, Dev Friedman and Cole Green who received a metal.
To add to the excitement of the event, the PCY Choral Club, directed by Lindsay Henroid, sang “As it Was” by Harry Styles; 6th-grade teachers and students played a game of “Family Feud”; and students participated in a beach ball toss activity.
