Participants from all corners of the Foothills came to race and enjoy music, snacks and celebrate at the 48th annual Fiesta Days Run at Descanso Gardens on Memorial Day.
With 450 registered participants, the YMCA of the Foothills’ fundraising event, which was presented by USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, raised more than $38,000 that will directly impact the community by benefiting the Y’s scholarship funds for campers, program participants and members.
“The Y sincerely thanks all the event sponsors, participants and volunteers for making this event so meaningful and doing some real good in the community,” the YMCA of the Foothills said in a statement.
