Sheriff’s Crime Log

A residential burglary was reported in the 5700 block of Summit Crest Drive between noon on June 3 and 10 p.m. on June 8. A black semi-automatic pistol was the only item reported missing. The responding deputies determined that the unknown suspects entered the home through a shattered sliding glass door.

Deputies from the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a residential burglary in the 5200 block of Alta Canyada at about 10:20 a.m. on May 28. The homeowner, who said they were away from the residence for three days, returned to find that the property was ransacked. The intruders are believed to have shattered a sliding glass door to gain entry into the home.

The owner of a business located in the 2200 block of Foothill Boulevard reported a petty theft at 11:37 p.m. on June 8. A woman told deputies that a group of people entered the business, and when they left, she noticed a stolen speaker.
