High school students taking the La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation summer school’s United States history class are ready to go back in time.
Taught by Joanne Park-Smith, they will start with the country’s reconstruction period and proceed to the Reagan era of the 1980s. When they reach the Great Depression of the 1930s, they will be tasked with making posters depicting social problems caused by the economic impact.
