Middle school students in the La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation’s summer school cooking class have hit the kitchen with their culinary teacher Andre Brown.
Brown initially taught the young chefs how to use the cooking equipment and kitchen safety. Next, the students gathered the necessary skills to whip up salmon, focaccia bread, cheese quesadillas, cupcakes, brownies and more.
After all of their hard work in the kitchen, the students enjoyed tasting their creations.
