ALFie Players to Bring ‘Frozen KIDS’ to the Stage

The Assistance League of Flintridge’s Drama program invites students in grades 3-6 to join the ALFie Players production of “Frozen KIDS.”
This well-known Disney story includes a beloved cast of characters, like Elsa, Anna and Olaf, magical adventures in the land of Arendelle, and humor.
Assistance League of Flintridge offers this eight-week, after-school drama workshop to students in La Cañada Flintridge and the surrounding communities. Rehearsals will culminate in a public performance at Lanterman Auditorium. The ALF Drama program is designed for beginners, as well as experienced drama performers.
Katelyn Fike will direct this production, leading students in song and choreography, as well as acting and stage techniques. Fike’s many credits include previous ALF productions of “Annie KIDS,” Disney’s “The Lion King KIDS” and “Aladdin KIDS.” She has worked extensively with the local elementary schools and leads the drama classes for ALF Summer School. Tristan Waldron and Nancy Abbott also return to round out the “Frozen KIDS” staff.
Rehearsals begin Tuesday, Aug. 15, followed by the performance on Sunday, Oct. 6, at Lanterman Auditorium. Online registration opens Monday, July 17, at noon. The $325 cost includes materials, a T-shirt and cast photo. For more information or to register, visit ALFlintridge.org, email programs@alflintridge.org or call (818) 790-2211.
