La Cañada Flintridge Sister Cities and the city of La Cañada Flintridge will host the upcoming Chamber Mixer and Community Gathering on Thursday, Aug. 17, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The event will highlight more than 20 local businesses and community groups in the Plaza de Mercado. Spirited and soulful, Los Angeles bolero band “Tres Souls” will serenade the audience from the new gazebo in Olberz Park in front of City Hall.
Spanish and American fare will be featured, along with Handel’s ice cream truck and a no-host bar. Raffle prizes will be original artwork by internationally renowned Spanish artist Javier Montesol.
Mayor Richard Gunter and the City Council will introduce and welcome new City Manager Daniel Jordan.
Event tickets are $10 for Chamber members and $20 for non-members. Pre-sale tickets are available at lacanadaflintridge.com.
