Ryan Oyama Earns Eagle Scout Rank

Ryan Oyama, of Troop 141, received the rank of Eagle Scout at a Court of Honor on July 29 in his hometown of Arcadia.
Ryan’s Eagle Project was to create and assemble drawstring bags for the Pasadena Union Station for the homeless in the surrounding Pasadena area. The bags were assembled with essential every day items that each individual can utilize.
Ryan has been involved in scouting for 11 years and is a 2023 graduate from St. Francis High School in La Cañada. He volunteers his time at the Arboretum in Arcadia and enjoys playing golf. He will be attending Cal Lutheran University in the fall.
He is the son of Jim and Suzanne Oyama and the brother of Kyle, also an Eagle Scout.
