Palm Crest Elementary School first graders recently put on their “I am a good apple” T-shirts in celebration of Apple Day.
The students participated in activities related to the fruit, including reading books about apples, crafting apple headbands, making apple-dot posters that compare the different types of apples and answer questions about them, as well as tasting apples, making apple sauce and eating apple pie.
