Flintridge Riding Club Celebrates 101st Anniversary

The Flintridge Riding Club celebrated its 101st Anniversary during the Club’s 101st Autumn Classic Horse Show on Sept. 28-Oct. 1.
La Cañada Flintridge Mayor Rick Gunter presented the 17th annual LCF Mayor’s Trophy for Equestrian Excellence to 16-year-old FRC member Camille O’Brien and her horse “Midsummer Dream” for their championship performance in the FRC open Equitation Final on Saturday, Sept. 30.
Congratulating her was last year’s Mayor’s Trophy recipient, 14-year-old LCF resident Stella Tinsley.
Both girls ride with trainer Nancy Frost of Sapphire Ridge stables, located at the Flintridge Riding Club. The four-day event is the oldest continuous horse show in the Western United States.
