Flintridge Prep, St. Francis Victorious in League Matchups

The Flintridge Prep varsity 8-man football team trounced host Windward High in Los Angeles 55-22 in its Prep League opener on Oct. 13, as senior captain Noah Willingham rushed for a team-high 189 yards with a pair of touchdowns on 27 carries.
Senior captain Alex Chorba completed 11 of 20 passes for 103 yards with two touchdowns. He also rushed for 38 yards on three carries, scoring two touchdowns. Sophomore Mac Peutet contributed significantly with three carries for 53 yards and two touchdowns.
Sophomore Will Grable caught two passes for 18 yards and a touchdown while also scoring a pair of two-point conversions. Sophomore Owen Willingham made two receptions for 10 yards with a touchdown, while sophomore Juliet Oberley made 3 of 6 PAT attempts.
Junior Ray Cabrera rushed for 30 yards on four carries, while junior John Battaglia recorded four receptions for 35 yards with a 5-yard carry.
Flintridge Prep (6-0 overall, 1-0 in league) will visit Sage Hill High in Newport Beach for a league game on Oct. 20 at 6 p.m. before hosting Palos Verdes Chadwick for its regular-season finale on Oct. 27.

ST. FRANCIS
The Golden Knights defeated visiting Cathedral High of Los Angeles 41-25 in an Angeles League game on Oct. 13. Individual statistics were not reported to the Outlook Valley Sun.
SFHS (7-1, 3-0) will visit Crespi High in Encino for a league game on Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. before concluding the regular season at St. Paul High in Santa Fe Springs on Oct. 27.
