A residential burglary was reported in the 3800 block of Keswick Road on Nov. 8 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. This victim, who locked up and left for work around 8 a.m., was alerted to the burglary with a notification on his way home from work when an alarm was activated on the property. Upon the victim’s arrival, he saw the rear patio glass door broken and shattered with an unknown tool. He also noticed that the first-floor master bedroom, bathroom, second-floor internet server room and guest room were ransacked, with drawers left open and clothes strewn about the floor. Items reported missing from the residence included two Louis Vuitton purses, three Chanel purses, two Chanel watches, a Goyard purse, two Louis Vuitton necklaces and two Chanel earrings.

A residential burglary was reported in the 700 block of Saint Katherine Drive on Nov. 9 at 8:10 p.m. A neighbor, who observed two men running from the home, said he had a partial view of the front yard and heard the burglary alarm from the house. When he stepped outside to look toward the residence, he saw the suspects running southbound through the backyard toward the main gate. Since it was dark outside at the time, he could not provide a description of the suspects. The neighbor also heard the sound of a car door slam closed and saw a light-colored sedan drive westbound on Saint Katherine Drive until it was out of view. The deputy later contacted the homeowner. While investigating the scene, the deputy found a shattered glass door by the master bedroom. A safe was reported missing from the master bedroom closet. Items inside included money, a Movado watch, a California driver’s license, one necklace and two earrings. The homeowner, who didn’t want the residence checked for fingerprints, said they would review the video footage to see if the crime was captured.

A burglary was reported in the 400 block of Commonwealth Avenue on Nov. 9 at 6:10 p.m. The victim said that he locked his residence before leaving on a business trip. The next day, his mother-in-law contacted him and said that the home had been ransacked. When the resident reviewed surveillance footage, he saw three men climb onto his master bedroom balcony and enter his residence. The suspects were described as wearing camouflage, gray hoodies, white gloves and backpacks. The victim reported three watches missing — a gold one and two Rolexes. The deputy reviewed the surveillance footage and theorized that the three men crawled into the master bedroom and closet to avoid activating the security system.

A residential burglary was reported in the 4500 block of Alveo Road on Nov. 9 between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies arrived with assisting units to clear the outside of the home to conduct a protective sweep. The victim was contacted and said that an unknown suspect entered her residence through the doggie door, which was blocked with a metal plate. They then entered her master bedroom closet and stole a Rolex watch, a Tiffany necklace, a Chanel shoulder bag and a Louis Vuitton purse set. The deputies obtained fingerprints from the location and tried to find surveillance cameras. A neighbor said that his surveillance camera recorded a silver Land Rover or Range Rover with black wheels and a black top driving southbound on Alveo Road.

A vehicle burglary was reported in the 1900 block of Verdugo Boulevard on Nov. 9 between 5:59 a.m. and 6:07 a.m. The victim said that around 5:59 a.m. she parked her vehicle in a parking spot and locked the doors before exiting. She left her lunch bag and purse on the floor of the front passenger side of the vehicle. After returning, she discovered the front passenger side window shattered with her items no longer there. When the victim contacted her debit and credit card providers, she found out the suspect had used her credit cards. Camera footage obtained by a deputy from the store where the fraudulent purchases were made, revealed the suspect was a man wearing jeans, a gray sweater with a Nike logo and a light-colored baseball cap.

A business grand theft incident was reported in the 900 block of Foothill Boulevard on Nov. 12 at 8 p.m. The manager of the business told the deputy that a woman wearing a floral pattern dress entered the store, walked to the vitamin aisle and stuffed multiple assortments of vitamins into a pocket underneath her skirt. The suspect was seen getting into the passenger seat of a white van.
