St. Francis Tops Crespi

The La Cañada High School varsity boys’ soccer team resumed Rio Hondo League play at Monrovia on Jan. 10; the game ended after the Outlook Valley Sun’s press deadline and will be included in next week’s issue.
The Spartans (6-1-2 overall, 1-0-1 in league) will visit Blair High in Pasadena on Jan. 12 at 4 p.m. before hosting San Marino on Jan. 17.


FLINTRIDGE PREP
The Wolves resumed Prep League action by hosting Providence High of Burbank on Jan. 10; the game ended after the Outlook Valley Sun’s press deadline and will be included in the next issue.
Flintridge Prep (1-3-1, 0-0-1) will host Pasadena Polytechnic for a league match on Jan. 11 at 3:30 p.m. before visiting Palos Verdes Chadwick on Jan. 17.

ST. FRANCIS
The Golden Knights defeated host Crespi High of Encino 4-2 in a Mission League match on Jan. 5.
Nshan Manoucherian registered eight saves, while Alex Hartley, Jake Wyatt, Cole Fletcher and Giuliano Lampasona each scored one goal.
St. Francis lost to visiting Loyola High of Los Angeles 3-1 in a league match on Jan. 3. Manoucherian finished with 10 saves, while Lampasona recorded one goal.
St. Francis (6-5-1, 3-1) will host Chaminade High of West Hills on Jan. 12 at 5 p.m. before visiting Sierra Canyon High in Chatsworth on Jan. 17.
