The La Cañada High School varsity boys’ soccer team routed host Blair High in Pasadena 6-2 in a Rio Hondo League game on Jan. 12. The Spartans previously resumed league play with a 3-1 loss at Monrovia on Jan. 10. Individual statistics were not reported to the Outlook Valley Sun.
LCHS (7-2-2 overall, 2-1-1 in league) will visit Temple City for a league match on Jan. 19 at 4 p.m. before traveling to South Pasadena on Jan. 24.
FLINTRIDGE PREP
The Wolves lost to visiting Pasadena Polytechnic 4-2 in a Prep League game on Jan. 13 as Ethan Rudzinski and Leo Ferry each scored one goal. Flintridge Prep battled to a scoreless draw in league matchup against visiting Polytechnic on Jan. 11.
The Wolves routed visiting Providence High of Burbank 6-1 in a league game on Jan. 10. Rhys King and Jonah Rose each scored two goals, while Rafi Fermanian and Ferry each one goal.
Flintridge Prep (2-3-2, 1-0-2) will visit Providence High in Burbank on Jan. 19 at 3 p.m. before visiting Polytechnic on Jan. 24.
ST. FRANCIS
The Golden Knights suffered a pair of Mission League losses against Chaminade High of West Hills, 1-0, on Jan. 12 and Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, 4-0, on Jan. 10.
St. Francis previously tied visiting Harvard-Westlake High of Studio City, 2-2, in a league matchup on Jan. 8.

St. Francis (6-7-2, 3-3-1) will host Alemany High of Mission Hills for a league match on Jan. 19 at 5 p.m. before hosting Crespi High of Encino on Jan. 22.
