Palm Crest Elementary students in Camilla Hartman’s 1st grade class and Leslie Provenzano’s 3rd grade class worked on a Valentine’s Day project together and then played a game of Bingo.
The buddies meet every three to four weeks. The partnership between the classes help the students develop friendships, as well as give them the experience of working with someone who is younger or older than them. The older students are also able to gain leadership skills and patience, too.
