St. Bede to Host 2-Part Mission

St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church invites the entire community for a two-part Lenten Parish Mission as they welcome Catholic priest Leo Patalinghug for his session, “Finding God: How to Get Your Family to Heaven.”
The first installment of the free event will be held in the church Sunday, March 3 at 7 p.m. and the second on Monday, March 4 at 8:45 a.m. or 7 p.m. Child Care will be provided and all are invited to stay for a light reception and book-signing immediately after the session. Free will donations are accepted and greatly appreciated.
A priest member of a community of consecrated life, Voluntas Dei (The Will of God), Patalinghug is an award-winning chef, acclaimed international speaker, and best-selling author. He has drawn the attention of major media outlets through his unique background as a chef and his previous experience as a two-time black belt martial arts instructor and award-winning dancer and choreographer. He has appeared on the Food Network where he won “Throwdown with Bobby Flay!”
The creator and founder of international food and faith movement “Plating Grace,” as well as founder and chair of the nonprofit group The Table Foundation, his mission to see food as a gift from God to nourish your family and to strengthen relationships is making this world a better place one meal at a time.
