Fifth graders at Paradise Canyon Elementary School recently celebrated finishing studying American colonial history by going experiencing colonial life.
Students dressed up, and with the help of parent volunteers, they made colonial cloth dolls and learned how to write with a quill and ink in their hornbooks. They also had to make butter for their corn cake snacks. Some students took turns being in the stockade.
