The PTA Reflections program winners were recently recognized at a reception held at the LCUSD board room.
The program, which is statewide and national, began in 1969. It encourages students to express themselves using literature, musical composition, dance choreography, photography, film/video production and visual arts focused on a specific theme. The most recent theme was “I’m hopeful because …”
The PTA Reflections program also raises community awareness of the importance of arts education.
