The Kiwanis Award Luncheon honoring Katherine Markgraf as the 2023 La Cañadan of the Year took place at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints.
Kiwanis President Joe Radabaugh welcomed guests, Greg Cook was the emcee and Councilman Keith Eich spoke to attendees.
Phil and Philip Markgraf, Elizabeth Meyer, Bent Hansen and Marilyn Smith also took the microphone to say a few words.
Markgraf’s award was presented by dignitaries. She was chosen in recognition of her outstanding volunteer service and exemplary leadership within La Cañada Flintridge.
