Lacrosse: La Cañada Girls’ Lacrosse Runs Into Buzzsaw

The La Cañada High School varsity girls’ lacrosse team lost at Glendale 15-1 in a Prep League game on March 27.
Freshman Keira Miller finished with three ground balls and one goal, while junior Kayle Cho collected three ground balls. Sophomore Madison Hunt and freshman Julie Chien each tallied two ground balls, while sophomore Gretchen Louie recorded seven saves.
The Spartans (6-8 overall, 1-2 in league) will visit Westridge School in Pasadena on April 9 at 3:30 p.m. before hosting Heritage Christian High of Northridge on April 12.


BOYS’ LACROSSE
The La Cañada High School varsity boys’ lacrosse team has been on a break since losing a Gold Coast League game at Village Christian High in Sun Valley on March 25.
The Spartans (3-6, 1-2) will host Heritage Christian High of Northridge on April 9 at 4 p.m. before visiting Viewpoint High in Calabasas on April 11.

ST. FRANCIS
The Golden Knights have been on a break since beating Saugus in a nonleague game on March 25.
St. Francis (10-5, 5-0) will visit Loyola High in Los Angeles for a Mission League game on April 9 at 7:30 p.m. before hosting San Juan Hills High of San Juan Capistrano on April 12.
