Lutheran Church Brings Back Discussion Group

The Lutheran Church in the Foothills is bringing back a well-received program,
“A Christian Conversation on the Issues of Religion and Science.”
The program will be led by Henry Fliegel, an astronomer and experienced presenter of biblical issues.
The discussion group will explore the intersection of faith, science and reason. The group meets every Monday at 11:30 a.m. in the LCIF conference room. No background is needed, just curiosity.
In addition, LCIF will hold an informational meeting for a planned pilgrimage to Greece that includes a Mediterranean cruise. Would-be travelers can learn more on Tuesday, April 30, at 7 p.m. in the LCIF conference room. Coordinated by LCIF Pastor Rick Hall and Pastor Tim Singleton of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church-La Crescenta, the trip will take place from May 12-23 in 2025 and will retrace the footsteps of the Apostle Paul.
Sunday worship at LCIF with Pastor Hall continues to include programming for young children. Children’s Church is offered during 10 a.m. worship. Families should meet in the church’s sanctuary. After a message for the children, the kids head to the Youth Room for games, crafts and study.
