The Flintridge Prep varsity boys’ soccer team edged host Maranatha High of Pasadena, 2-1, in a nonleague game last Friday. Individual statistics were not reported to the Outlook Valley Sun.
The Wolves (2-2-1 overall, 0-0-1 in league) will visit La Cañada for a tournament game on Monday, Dec. 26, at 10 a.m.
ST. FRANCIS
The Golden Knights were edged by visiting rival Loyola High of Los Angeles, 1-0, in a Mission League game last Friday. SFHS previously lost a league game at Harvard-Westlake High in Studio City, 5-0.
St. Francis (1-4-1 overall, 0-2 in league) will compete in the Nike High School Classic beginning on Tuesday, Dec. 27.
LA CAÑADA
The Spartans have been idle since losing a nonleague game at Westlake High in Westlake Village on Dec. 9. LCHS (1-6 overall) will host Flintridge Prep in a tournament game on Monday, Dec. 26, at 10 a.m., followed by a matchup with Glendora later that day.
