A project first developed by La Cañada Flintridge City Councilman Keith Eich and former La Cañada High School students Trevor and Dylan Ware has since continued into this election season, with students volunteering to collect City Council candidate signs.
LCHS student Mona Dillard spearheaded the tradition with an organizing role and encouraged her peers to volunteer to collect the signs in exchange for free pizza and community service hours.
The group of 20 students drove around LCF collecting candidate signs, regardless of which candidate they supported.
