Nearly 100 visitors toured the renovated Twelve Oaks Senior Living after its four-year closure this past Sunday. Guests learned about the rich history Twelve Oaks has with the surrounding communities, as well as the assisted living and memory care services Twelve Oaks will provide residents. Presentations were made by Gabriel Mendham, president of the Twelve Oaks Foundation, which owns and oversees the property, as well as Sandy Solis, executive director of the facility, who is with Northstar Senior Living, the property’s management company. Mendham states, “We are thrilled to re-introduce the community to Twelve Oaks and also want to thank the hard work of former National Charity League, Glendale Chapter and Twelve Oaks Board members who continue to support the Twelve Oaks mission.” In addition to interested residents, attendees included Glendale City Councilman Zareh Sinanyan; state Sen. Anthony Portantino’s District Representative Vickere Murphy; Christopher Charles of the Montrose-Verdugo Chamber of Commerce; Grant Michals, president of the Montrose/Verdugo Sparr Heights Neighborhood Association; and other community leaders, including Julia Leeper, Mike Morgan and Mike Lawler. Twelve Oaks Senior Living is accepting reservations. For more information, call (818) 862-0811, email Sandy Solis at SSolis@northstarsl.com or visit twelveoaksseniorliving.com.
