The 8th-graders in Danielle Murr-Pinsker’s English class worked in groups to research student grading systems. They were asked to take a position on whether the regular A-to-F grading system is more effective for students or the pass-fail system. Once the group decided which position they supported, they gathered factual support to present in their debates.
