La Cañada Elementary School celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday with a daylong community read-in. Community partner members and parents were invited to come to each class and read a special book. Students enjoyed seeing who the mystery readers were, learning about the reader and listening to the stories. They all agreed it was a fun birthday event for Dr. Seuss. The special event was chaired by Mary Perkins and Julie Bae.
