The Learning Castle and La Cañada Preparatory recently held their ninth annual Diamond Donor Dinner and handed the Diamond Service Award to parent volunteer Nancy Yacoub for her years of service.
The dinner and ceremony, held at the Rococo Room in Old Pasadena, was attended by the schools’ major donors and celebrated the fiscal goals of the campaign and 100% parent participation.
Director Terry Villanueva gave the opening remarks and revealed the final total raised for the year. Assistant Director Justin Whalin detailed how this year’s funds were used and future plans for the schools.
The evening concluded with a slide show featuring the children of the donors in attendance.
