Applications for the 2018 Miss La Cañada Flintridge Royal Court are now available. Participants are selected based upon a combination of qualities, including public speaking ability, poise, academic achievement, youth leadership and LCF community and high school involvement.
A member of the current LCF court, La Cañada High School senior Julianne Lauenstein, was selected as a member of the Tournament of Roses Royal Court.
Applications are available on the LCF Chamber of Commerce website at lacanadaflintridge.com, in the chamber office at 4529 Angeles Crest Highway, Suite 102, or by e-mail at exec@lacanadaflintridge.com.
To be eligible, an individual must be a high school junior and live within the city of LCF.
Interviews will be held the second week in November. Finalists will be notified to appear at Festival in Lights, Friday, Dec. 1, at 4 p.m. in Memorial Park, where the five selected to become the 2018 Miss LCF Court will be announced.
The coronation will take place at the chamber’s 106th Gala on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at the LCF Country Club.
