The Flintridge Guild of Children’s Hospital held its Thankful Heart luncheon and boutique at the Altadena Town & Country Club. Members and their guests perused tables where vendors were selling clothing, accessories, handmade cards, gourmet oils and vinegars, and French linens and beauty products, with a percentage of sales going to Children’s Hospital.
The Sweet Shop contained all kinds of beautifully wrapped baked goods and other treats handmade by Guild members, with 100% of those proceeds going to Children’s Hospital. Speakers at the 200-guest luncheon included a mother whose daughter’s life was saved by doctors at Children’s Hospital, as well as Children’s Hospital representatives.
