The Directory of Community Organizations and Special Events for 2017-18 is now available online at lcfcc.info.
The directory, prepared annually by the Coordinating Council, provides an overview of the many organizations in La Cañada Flintridge that are members of the Coordinating Council.
The listing for each group includes contact person; the date, time and place of regular meetings; special events; and a brief description of services provided. In addition to organizations, the directory provides information about the city, schools and churches.
A printed copy is being given to each contact person and extra copies are at the library and Chamber of Commerce. The website also has a calendar of community activities through the year that can help event planners avoid conflicts with scheduling events.
All organizations in LCF are invited to join the Coordinating Council and have their information publicized on the website. The annual membership fee is $25 and supports the work of the Council, which also includes candidate forums and the Les Tupper Community Service Awards.
