LCHS Has 16 National Merit Scholarship Finalists

All 16 seniors from La Cañada High School that were named semifinalists of the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program in September are among the more than 15,000 students to be considered finalists, LCHS announced Wednesday. San Marino High School produced 15 finalists, Flintridge Prep had 14 and seven from South Pasadena attained finalist standing. The LCHS students included Ashly Lam (from left), Phoebe Luo, Seojin Yun, Adam Jensen, Lillian Snow, David Garland, Alex Konakov, Aidan Robinson, Colin Wang (kneeling), Benjamin Hubler, Ryan Silva, Leon Kornfeld, Connor Lee, Kamran Samudrala and Eliza Jeffries. Not pictured: George Branda. The National Merit Scholarship Program will announce winners in May.
