Paradise Canyon Elementary School focused on local ecology at their first outdoor assembly since the pandemic began.
It was a sunny day, as students listened to a presentation by National Park restoration ecologist and park ranger, Joey Algiers, explain how restoring the Santa Monica Mountain’s native vegetation will cause the animals, including mountain lions to return to their natural habitats.
