With a theme of new horizons and historical beginnings, the World’s Fair returned to La Cañada Elementary School. Enthusiastic parent volunteers showcased Denmark, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Haiti, Israel, Mongolia and Samoa, with displays and presentations about the countries. Students had an opportunity to post their personal wish on the prayer wall found in Israel. They also sampled food from the countries. Kam Flower and Babette Sparr chaired the event.
