I think the Outlook Valley Sun should do a story on Anita, the amazing crossing guard at PCY. I’ve never met her, but she waves at our car each morning as if we’re the most important people in the world. She starts our day with her infectious positive energy every morning as she waves emphatically at our car, and every other parent’s car that passes by.
She’s pure love. She’s someone in our community who is making it better by shining her light on those she comes in contact with. She’s become famous at PCY for her amazing attitude that never wavers.
I think we need to recognize Anita and show her that we are grateful for her. She gives so much to all of us with a wave of her hand.
