Nearly 200 local residents gathered at Memorial Park on Monday morning for a poignant Memorial Day service to remember those who have died during military service. The event underpins the patriotic dedication for the broader Fiesta Days celebration, organizers have long said.
Members of the La Cañada Flintridge City Council and LCUSD Governing Board were among those in attendance. In addition to this nation’s veteran heroes, other participants included members of the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and the La Cañada High School Band and choral department students.
