The 7th- and 8th-grade chefs in the La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation’s summer school cooking class worked in teams to prepare French toast.
They learned about measurements, proper use of culinary tools, kitchen safety and techniques. They tried out various recipes. The student chefs said they enjoyed the class.
