Reading did not stop over the summer for La Cañada Elementary School students, some of whom were recently recognized for being the top readers in their grade levels.
At the school’s first sprit rally, Kevin Sim, Chloe Oh, Lucas Barsom, Schyler Wokosin and Risha Mandal and (not pictured) Claire Lee and Nandika Mehrotra were celebrated for their impressive summertime reading. The seven students received congratulatory cheers from their fellow students and teachers.
