Greenline Housing Foundation Hosts Coffee Event

First published in the Sept. 29 print issue of the Outlook Valley Sun.

Brent and Marion Kuszyk recently hosted an informational coffee event featuring Jasmin Shupper, Founder and President of the Greenline Housing Foundation at their home in La Cañada Flintridge.
The Greenline Housing Foundation is a newly established innovative nonprofit organization that seeks to remediate the imbalance in home equity for people of color.
In addition to providing grants to qualified prospective homeowners of color to purchase a home, Greenline offers financial education to assure that grant recipients enter homeownership with a strong financial foundation. Greenline’s ultimate goal is to close the racial wealth gap, as they seek to reverse the impact of systemic racism in housing.
There were approximately 25 people in attendance including community leaders.
“We were thrilled to help spread the word of this amazing organization to our community,” said Brent Kuszyk. “Jasmin is so passionate about this cause and her message was warmly received.”
