Friday night was STEM Night at La Cañada Elementary School, where members of the Engineering Club and the girls’ robotics teams were on hand to explain and task other students with making Lego robots and operating them, as well as helping them understand earthquakes and the engineering behind buildings.
Both students and parents enjoyed the experiencing the hands-on robotics world.
Parent Julie Townsend Wood sponsored the girls’ teams and coordinated the event.
