With a grand and elegant style, the Flintridge Guild of Children’s Hospital recently hosted their Deck the Halls Boutique & Brunch at the Shakespeare Club, where numerous La Cañada Flintridge residents participated in a festive event attended by a sold-out crowd of more than 300 guests and patrons.
This annual tradition celebrates the beginning of the holiday season. transforming the Shakespeare mansion into a holiday magical wonderland. The rooms were all spruced up with holiday decor and treats that were for sale. The proceeds benefitted the CHLA endowed chairs of Abdominal Transplant Surgery & Endocrinology.
It included both formal and whimsical holiday decor with an elegant living room and a Gingerbread Room that included professionally baked gingerbread houses that were personalized with family names including beloved pets. Champagne brunch was served as guests strolled through the decorated mansion alongside New England Christmas Carolers who entertained guests with their live Christmas caroling. La Cañada High School students volunteered throughout the day including helping the shoppers carry out their wonderful holiday purchases.
It was a magical day to see the entire community of La Cañada Flintridge coming together to embrace the upcoming holiday season.
All proceeds for the event went towards the endowed chairs of abdominal transplant surgery and endocrinology at CHLA.
