Award-Winning Float Goes on Display

First published in the Jan. 12 print issue of the Outlook Valley Sun.

The La Cañada Flintridge Tournament of Roses “Secondhand Shenanigans” float, featured in the Rose Parade, made its way to LCF’s Memorial Park on Foothill Boulevard last weekend for residents to view “up close and personal.” The award-winning float arrived early Saturday morning after having spent most of last week at Victory Park, home of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses’ annual post-parade float viewing. The LCF float was honored with the Mayor Award for being the most outstanding community-built entry from a participating city.
