The CIF-Southern Section released its All-CIF selections for the 11-man football season, with standouts from the La Cañada High School and St. Francis varsity squads being recognized.
LA CAÑADA
Senior standout Corey Cheung was honored with an All-CIF Division XI selection. Cheung had an excellent campaign, rushing for a team-best 1,861 yards on 226 carries with 23 touchdowns while racking up nine 100-plus yard performances in 11 total games. He also made 10 catches for 132 yards while registering 77 total tackles and four sacks on defense.
ST. FRANCIS
Senior quarterback Jack Jacobs earned an All-CIF selection after completing 199 of 327 passes for 3,302 yards with 33 touchdowns. He also rushed for 297 yards on 120 carries with four touchdowns. Senior Devyn Turner rushed for 1,363 yards with five touchdowns while adding 23 catches for 386 yards and three touchdowns.
SFHS senior Jett McCullough registered 914 total yards with 12 touchdowns on offense while posting 41 tackles and five interceptions on defense. Junior Preston Jernegan racked up a team-best 132 total tackles and five interceptions on defense while making 13 receptions for 203 yards and three touchdowns on offense. Senior Racin Delgatty finished the campaign with 24 tackles and a fumble recovery, junior Phillip Ocon produced 46 total tackles and senior captain Naasir Asiata-Tatum one tackle.
