LCFEF Gala to Honor Anderson on March 18

The La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising money in support of the local public schools, will honor Caroline Anderson with the prestigious Spirit of Outstanding Service Award at the 30th annual LCFEF Gala on Saturday evening, March 18.
The event will be held at Vibiana in Los Angeles with the theme “Monte Carlo Nights.” Guests will enjoy a fun-filled evening of dinner, drinks, casino games, dancing and auction.
“Caroline has dedicated herself and her family toward developing LCUSD as the highest-achieving public school district in California,” LCFEF Executive Director Marilyn Yang said in a statement. “She is hardworking, dedicated, caring and a true professional with years of volunteer work while leading community organizations and committees to improve and support La Cañada schools and families.
“Caroline is a visionary who strives to integrate parent support, school involvement and community unification toward an improved La Cañada community — a community, through her ambassadorship, genuine compassion and tireless volunteer efforts has become a model for sister-communities and organizations to emulate. She is fondly known as the ‘go-to’ person for most things both in LCUSD and the La Cañada community,” Yang added.
“Caroline is a one-in-a-million mother and community volunteer,” Yang continued. “Her skills, knowledge, willingness to help others, and dedication to our schools and community make her a star recipient of the Spirit of Outstanding Service Award.”
Anderson and her husband, Marcotte, have two sons, Ethan (LCHS Class of 2026) and Liam (LCHS Class of 2027).
Community members or businesses interested in donating auction items to the event can contact the Educational Foundation at admin@lcfef.org.
